Students from all grades were immersed in workshops today, where they were able to learn about Aboriginal culture and tools.
The responsibility to care for the land by not wasting resources was highlighted by our guest speaker Josh as well a many dream time stories.
Following the discussion, all classes have or will be completing a follow-up task to show their learning from today. It is these ideas that will form the basis for our new school mural to show our respect to the amazing Aboriginal culture.

๐ A huge congratulations to Mia who recently took part in the NSWPSSA Rugby Development Program! ๐ Mia was 1 of only 15 girls across NSW selected to represent her school and diocese in the Girlsโ 7s Rugby Merit Squad. She participated in a 2 day high level development camp at the NSW Waratahs HQ, showcasing her skills, dedication, and love for the game. ๐

๐ฅ A massive week to close the term in Year 5! ๐ฅ Our students have been busy diving into learning, creativity, and innovation. This week... ๐ฌ We explored the forces during our science incursion. ๐ฎ We welcomed a guest from Timezone, who came to see our sustainable game prototypes designed to incorporate forces and energy โ and heโll be taking our ideas back with him! ๐จ We also created stunning artworks using natural and sustainable items collected from our playground. Itโs been a week full of inquisitivity, hard work, creativity, and deep engagement in our learning. We are looking forward to more jam packed fun next term. ๐คฏ๐

๐ฟ๐ฉโ๐ณ Our Year 3 students had a wonderful time today turning fresh ingredients into something delicious! Using parsley picked straight from our very own school garden, they created cheesy garlic scrolls that were full of flavour. ๐ง๐ง๐ฅ This activity was more than just cooking, it connected learning across the curriculum. Students practiced reading and following a recipe, measuring and weighing ingredients, and working together as a team. They also got to see the rewards of caring for our garden and how what we grow can make its way onto our plates. ๐ฑโจ The best part? Enjoying the scrolls warm from the oven and sharing the experience with friends. What a tasty way to learn! ๐ด๐
