Students from all grades were immersed in workshops today, where they were able to learn about Aboriginal culture and tools.
The responsibility to care for the land by not wasting resources was highlighted by our guest speaker Josh as well a many dream time stories.
Following the discussion, all classes have or will be completing a follow-up task to show their learning from today. It is these ideas that will form the basis for our new school mural to show our respect to the amazing Aboriginal culture.

🌱✨Year 3 Visit Bede Polding College! 🌱 Our Year 3 students recently visited Bede Polding College to explore their agricultural plot. With the support of Mr Heath and Bede Polding students, they learnt about growing crops and even picked some fresh produce. 🍅🥬 They also loved patting the sheep and meeting the cutest little ducklings — a definite highlight of the day! Year 5 have had an amazing first day at Camp Collaroy! 🎯 Students had a blast taking part in archery, conquering the high ropes course, and enjoying some action-packed laser tag. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and challenges conquered along the way. Our students took part in an AFL Clinic where they played some new games and practised skills like handballing and kicking a drop punt. It was a great chance for everyone to have a go and build their confidence. The clinic was also a taster for the After School AFL Program starting next Wednesday, 11th March, on the Chisholm Oval. Our Year 5 students had a fantastic time this week participating in Buddy Sport with their Kindergarten buddies! It was wonderful to see our Year 5s stepping up as leaders – encouraging, guiding and cheering on their little buddies.
